Instructions and Help about Free SubContractor Warranty Form

I don't usually work with subcontractors, but recently I did a project where I had to hire an agency to do some work for me. I want to share the story about this and my insights. Several months ago, I took on a big project, and the client wanted a video for their startup company. Normally, I would make videos myself, as I have camera gear and editing skills, but this time they wanted something more high-end. So, I suggested hiring a full video production agency. I provided the client with a budget estimate for a video like this, and they agreed, as long as I managed the process. I agreed, not charging for managing it, as I didn't want to profit from someone else's work. I wanted to win the project, so I accepted their conditions. I found a recommended company and arranged a meeting with them. They did a presentation, and the client liked them. However, the service provider ended up overcharging me. After the meeting, they informed me that they could only produce a video at the high end of the budget, despite knowing that our budget was lower. I felt betrayed, although it may have been my mistake for not communicating the project requirements clearly. Regardless, I needed to find someone else to complete the video. This time, I didn't have personal references for the new video production team, but their portfolio showcased good work. I met with them and explained that this time, we couldn't afford any delays or budget issues. I brought in a second subcontractor to meet the client, and thankfully, the client approved. We began working together, and everything seemed to be progressing well.
